Electronic Arts released a new patch for Mass Effect: Legendary Edition today. The focal point of this patch is to soften the apparently-deafening sound effect of the Normandy traveling through a mass effect relay.

As someone who plays exclusively through headphones on the PS4, this was never something I had a problem with. Shows I’m in the minority, though.

Other fixes include patching the bug that prevented the player from reaching max level in the first Mass Effect. Another issue where Tier 2 Spectre gear was inaccessible in the first game has been patched (I thought that was just me. I wasn’t able to access high-level Spectre gear in Mass Effect 1.)
