“Dead Space”, the godforsaken space survival-horror nightmare-inducing title that made a big impact in the genre during the PS3/X-BOX 360 Era, is (more than likely) getting a reboot. Motive is handling the code work while EA is publishing. Right now, this is still just a rumor but there’s enough meat on the bone to warrant the idea that this is probably happening.

I hated Dead Space. From beginning to end. I hated this gaht-damn game. Resident Evil frightened you in many ways, but Dead Space was in a league of its own. Remembering some damned Necromorph burrow it’s way into a corpse and then chase you across a room to have words with you is still with me. It took me a year to get through the first, and I never made it through the second. Call me a bitch if you want. I was. I am. This game terrified me.

Can’t wait to pre-order the remake.
