Good morning! I hope the coffee (or whatever your morning drink of choice is) is strong enough to get you through your day without breaking your bank. In the meantime, here’s the top headlines to stop your week.
The upcoming Dungeons and Dragons film has finished production. I’ve always existed on the fringe of this franchise. I’m a much bigger fan of the lore than the roleplaying itself (too much math). I wonder how anyone thinks they can write a story that appeals to such a diverse and utterly massive (and rabid) fanbase. I guess we’ll find out shortly.
Want to read comics for free without raising a black flag to do so? Check out this list. You can even check out mainstays from Marvel and DC using some of these, including Hoopla. I’m a big fan of that one for my digital comic fix.
The Bipolar Gamer, one of the best writers in the field of using video games to balance mental health, re-shares and article about time management and making the most out of your day. I happened across his website about three months ago and subscribed almost immediately.
And finally, the winner of the best library of 2021 has been announced. I’m a little disappointed that not a single library from the United States was listed, but check out what made the cut.
