The truth is, you have to get ruthless about your mental health.
You have to take a hard look in the mirror and figure out who you are.
You have to figure out what you will and will not tolerate.
You have to figure out where your personal and professional boundaries are.
You have to become okay with being flawed.
You have to forgive yourself for mistakes.
You have to become comfortable with the word ‘No’.
You have to learn that setting boundaries will cost you people.
You have to learn that this process will hurt.
You have to decide if the hurt is worth it.
Because here are two infallible truths: this is the only life you will live, and time is the only commodity that is truly finite.
How you spend that life, and what you spend that time on, ultimately fall on you, whether you like it or not.
What you do with that is up to you.
