Fresh from Reedsy, Bookdle is being billed as publishing’s answer to Wordle. It functions a lot like the uber-popular word game, only this allows readers to solve a puzzle in order to receive a single word from your story.

I don’t know what I think of this. I don’t play Wordle myself, and while I’m a big fan of serializations and using flash fiction to tell stories episodically, I don’t know if I have the patience to read a story one word at a time. Having ADHD, I’ll probably forget what happened the day before and lose interest. Neuronormal people probably won’t struggle with this.
