
Good morning! I’ve been in Vegas about a week now. I’m fairly certain the sun is homicidal. We’ve been dealing with triple digit days and it’s wreaked havoc on the bird population here. Don’t ask. It’s not pretty.
Beyond that I’ve been adventuring to the Hoover Dam, Pokémon hunting at the strip, and loading up tiktoks for the next week when I officially return to social media. I’m also prepping a ton of photos to blast to Instagram and Facebook (I’ve aged into That Guy).
After a few days of running and one night of way too much tequila, I’ve decided to put my phone down for a few days to clear my head. In the meantime, enjoy the day’s reads, and I hope the end of your week is treating you well.

The richest country in the world has no reason to bankrupt its poorest citizens if a medical emergency arises. The crisis has become so severe that people are having fewer children. I’m not saying that our medical professionals don’t deserve to be paid (especially in the covid age) but tying healthcare to full-time employment is no longer feasible, if it ever was.
